When it comes to wind turbines, there are omnipresent dangers of the absence(s) of wind(s) to power the turbines. Then, what must be the other co-existing renewable energy resources necessary to mitigate the shortcomings of wind turbines? Environmentally friendlier energy production initiatives are both extremely expensive, and laborious. Can we, as Americans, depend upon elected government officials to invest in environmentally friendlier energy production initiatives as well?????

How much ‘green’ energy required to make each of those towers and who’s responsible for decommission and toxic removal? Don’t they require diesel to start? Why are they rated / called ‘Turbines’ at all? Makes no sense and appears a vanity-project - like so much of the green-thing. You cannot make more windmills with windmills, nor more solar panels with solar energy. If you were honest about numbers you’d note across history energy consumption rises and falls with that societies’ wealth : they go up+down in lockstep. Green = poverty. You think Gates will give up his jets or Tech Bros their orbital-selfies?

Even though one can pretend to imagine a Cartesian coordinate system in so-called 'Empty Space', one can never do ANY experiments on that Empty Space other than imaginary ones. Why? Because as soon as you introduce an observer, let alone instruments and photons/electrons, radiation, waves, etc. (necessary to observe/test), then that space is quite simply no longer empty. For Krauss or Coyne to attempt to imagine totally empty space devoid of ANYthing is foolhardy at best -- for either of them. Of all the babies or children who died in floods, tornadoes, plagues, famines, etc. None are your direct ancestors. That would be like saying your Grandfather died at 8, which is impossible. So how could you be so lucky? Because they were obsessed with problem solving and now you are. Money was invented to solve all problems, which is why everyone seems to chase it so much.
