I think I had heard Jill(ian) mentioning the team sport of hockey. I'm well-aware that the team sport of ice hockey 🏒 is extremely popular in the American State of Minnesota 😃😃😃😃😃. There's also the team sport of field hockey 🏑, too. Jill(ian) needs to be more specific about which team sport of hockey she had been talking about in the above Web video.
Does Cristina think that Gustavus Adolphus College will be expanded to include postgraduate academic program(me)s as well?
I applaud at what Laura is doing ❤❤❤❤❤😃😃😃😃😃. ¶ I do 🤔 that, in order to increase the sustainabilities of renewable energy resources, more different forms of renewable energy resources have to be researched, developed, and put into continuous practical uses. When it comes to wind turbines, there are omnipresent dangers of the absence(s) of wind(s) to power the turbines. Then, what must be the other co-existing renewable energy resources necessary to mitigate the shortcomings of wind turbines? Environmentally friendlier energy production initiatives are both extremely expensive, and laborious. Can we, as Americans, depend upon elected government officials to invest in environmentally friendlier energy production initiatives as well?????
How much ‘green’ energy required to make each of those towers and who’s responsible for decommission and toxic removal? Don’t they require diesel to start? Why are they rated / called ‘Turbines’ at all? Makes no sense and appears a vanity-project - like so much of the green-thing. You cannot make more windmills with windmills, nor more solar panels with solar energy. If you were honest about numbers you’d note across history energy consumption rises and falls with that societies’ wealth : they go up+down in lockstep. Green = poverty. You think Gates will give up his jets or Tech Bros their orbital-selfies?
Every time they make a political statement and do not stick to the science, I switch it off. Just like any time someone brings up religion.
Segmentation Fault Lovelace
Computer science?
@@zuhakhalid4900 Congrats
Segmentation fault is far too niche a term for anyone not in cs or egr
@@Hemo-Dyn You're really accurate. My course is in France, so I went and did an engineering course and specialised in computer science.

Aww, the last two want to work with kids... I hope they don't regret it. Teachers get treated badly very often.

The cruelty, brutality and randomness that are evidenced by natural selection and evolution have stunningly endowed us as a species with the very ability to transcend its barbarity. The choice is ours- it's within our grasp. Perhaps that is what the Universe is attempting through us; to violate its own inviolate laws!❤
How do these huge plants grow in tiny little pots? Was it watered alot? What’s the root system look like? Who pollinates that?! An elephant? 😅

Great job Doctor Tsegenet! It is so wonderful and encouraging to see some one with a clear goal and purpose to tackle a very serious problem that exists right where you were born and raised as well as globally. Very proud of you. True advancement is working along side nature not against it and what you are doing displays this fact beautifully.Very impressive!!
Forget Jesus?! That's not going to happen. The "universe" didn't come from nothing, it was spoken into existence by Almighty God. Please read the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible for more on creation.
Coyne: "God cannot know what is not 'knowable' (even for God)." Yea, I think that works out to a simple logical Tautology. And it's not really any meaningful limitation on God. It's clear that he also thinks (rather than believes) that "God (by definition) knows everything that IS knowable."
Even though one can pretend to imagine a Cartesian coordinate system in so-called 'Empty Space', one can never do ANY experiments on that Empty Space other than imaginary ones. Why? Because as soon as you introduce an observer, let alone instruments and photons/electrons, radiation, waves, etc. (necessary to observe/test), then that space is quite simply no longer empty. For Krauss or Coyne to attempt to imagine totally empty space devoid of ANYthing is foolhardy at best -- for either of them. Attempting to imagine a time prior to the beginning of all time is likewise foolhardy. I am a bit on the dividing line when it comes to the "Conformal cyclic cosmology" from Penrose, for example. I find Penrose to be unafraid to look infinity directly in its face. Krauss is more on the entertaining side than Penrose, for sure. But I do think both of them are incredibly brilliant.
He was very close to how I think with one great exception: I see things though the eyes of a predator whereas he does not. I love Jane Goodall but chimps aren't the predators we are. If they were they wouldn't be around. I see people attack a black friday sale as though it were a deer. One thing he doesn't realize is that the skill required to trap a fox is totally different than the skill to trap a beaver which is totally different than the skill to trap a raccoon. We are obsessed with problem solving in order to eat every day. Imagine eating every day if on the other side of a mountain there exists no animals you have the skill to get? He does mention our need for "causes", so he is close. Almost everything we do or own is ammunition for solving a problem. This has been bred into us. Your car, shoes, house, sidewalk, the tires on your car, your garage, all are solutions to problems. Name one thing at Walmart that doesn't solve some problem? Of all the babies or children who died in floods, tornadoes, plagues, famines, etc. None are your direct ancestors. That would be like saying your Grandfather died at 8, which is impossible. So how could you be so lucky? Because they were obsessed with problem solving and now you are. Money was invented to solve all problems, which is why everyone seems to chase it so much.
HE IS THE EPITOME OF A CLASSIC EXPERT THAT LIES WITH EVERYTHING THAT COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH.
